At Banned Promotions, our goal is to give local, regional, and national artists more exposure by creating an online platform that will provide our readers more information and entertainment about bands and artists that often get overlooked by the mainstream media. On our official site, www.bannedpromotions.com, we post interviews and cd reviews with local and national bands and musicians, blogs, provide other limited services including booking, A&R and website design in a continued effort to promote awareness to the music. Our most popular feature is interviews, and we've been privileged to interview many great bands and artists over the years, including legends who's played in bands such as Megadeth, Anthrax, Ministry, Danzig, Prong, Black Label Society, Mad Season, REM, Stone Temple Pilots, Krokus, Black Oak Arkansas, and also a Sirius radio host, a famous comedian, a famous movie star, and the man who gave Metallica their first break. But our heart and soul is with independent bands who aren't getting the attention they deserve. It is those bands, bands who feel they're basically "banned" from overexposure, that we like to help the most. The whole world should hear some of these bands, so we're doing our part to help.
