‘Much like their friends and fellow Fins, the all-girl trio Le Corps Mince de Françoise. Playing new material and showcasing a shift to a slower, more 90s, MIA-influenced set like a punkish Late of the Pier, these ladies were hands-down my favourite act of the weekend and with support-dates for Peaches and UK lives dates coming up this autumn they are dead cert ones to watch for the likes of you. While I was already a fan of their more 80s electro sound on tracks like ‘Bitch of the Bitches’ and ‘Ray-Ban Glasses’ their upcoming Kitsune single ‘Something Golden’ is a definite winner.’

"The first thing you notice, hence the mention of amphetamines, is how fast and funkily furious their tunes are, which immediately separates these girls – two sisters and a friend – from the likes of Fan Death and New Young Pony Club, who do dour synth-disco, the slow pace designed to telegraph how fabulously fed-up they are to be here."

"The Helsinki trio have been sending indie Euro dives into raptures"

"At the beginning of 2008 in a dimly-lit indie club I play a demo I *ahem* downloaded - a rough, scratchy cut of Cool & Bored, all kicky pop, comedy gangster rap with buttery vowels falling into wet slurpy cackles of laughter at the chorus and heavy doses of girl power, plastic lips birthing a new-millenium
-Chicks-on-Speed-via-the-Commodore-64-
route-of-Funkstar-Deluxe vibe. I slap it .. a few CTA electro tracks and BLAM. Kills it."
on LCMDF's "Cool and Bored":
"it may be way too early to declare this, but Le Corps Mince de
Françoise is my new favorite band even with only one song on their
MySpace. “Cool and Bored” is just waiting to be the hipster anthem… "
on "Ray-Ban Glasses":
"Yeah, Helsinki. It's been a while since the Fins have dropped something this spectacular on us, and Le Corps Mince de Françoise are certainly just that: Finnish and spectacular."
