Uma das principais características do músico Leandro Ferrari é a utilização da gaita diatônica com novas texturas, através de filtros e pedais normalmente utilizados por guitarristas.
Ex-integrante da banda The Nasty Blues (liderada pelo italiano Bruno Avanzato), leciona aulas particulares e seu curso de gaita na Pro Music Escola de Música desde 1997, também é o idealizador do “Minas Harp/ Encontro de Gaitistas” e atualmente colunista do portal “O Debate” onde escreve sobre blues, jazz e aulas de gaita.
Ferrari já marcou presença em importantes eventos musicais, como Pop Rock Brasil (Belo Horizonte – 2000/2003), Planeta Atlântida (Santa Catarina – 2000 / Palco B), Rock’ n Halls (São Paulo – 2003), 5o Harmônica e Blues Project (São Paulo – 2003), Garimpo (Belo Horizonte – 2007), Conexão Vivo (Gov. Valadares/MG – 2009), Fórum Harmônicas Brasil (Fortaleza – 2009), Tagima Convention (São Paulo – 2009), abriu o show do gaitista texano Kim Wilson & The Fabulous Thunderbirds (Belo Horizonte – 1996) e foi uma das atrações do 4o Encontro Internacional de Gaitistas realizado em 2005 no Sesc Pompéia/SP. Já recebeu elogios de Jason Ricci (USA), Greg Zlap (FRA), PT Gazell (USA), Joe Filisko (USA) e de outros renomados gaitistas. Também gravou e tocou com Skank (Vamos Fugir), Sideral, Jam Pow!, alem de outros importantes trabalhos.
Em 2005 criou o projeto Compadres com o objetivo de produzir novas sonoridades e novos timbres sobre variados gêneros musicais. Ferrari trabalhou em parceria com Cubanito (Black Sonora), Glauco (Tianastácia), Rafael Carneiro (Paralaxe), Pow MX (Lealsoundsystem) e outros grandes músicos de diferentes estilos e bandas. O primeiro CD que reuniu elementos como Hip Hop e Eletrônica foi lançado em 2006, produzido pelo guitarrista Augusto Nogueira, seguido dos singles Saliva (2007) e Sk8 Dub (2008).

You need to check out the new Victoria "Blowbox" Harp amp! I was instrumental in designing and getting into their line of top shelf amps. Go to youtube and search me "James Reeser" and there are a couple of recent vids featuring it.
It is a 45 watt 2X8 amp. It looks like a tweed head but yes it has 2 8" speakers in it. No one can believe such a fat rich tone comes from a little amp. It is versatile... light weight... It can be plugged into any speaker cab as it has 2, 4 and 8 ohm output taps. It also has a switch that makes it either a stock 59 Bassman if that is your tone (also for guitar if desired) or flip the switch for the harp special circuits and rich fat harp tone! And yes has plenty of power as a stand alone to keep up with just about any band.
Disponibilizei algumas faixas do meu 1° cd, ainda não estão mixadas e faltam pequenos ajustes, algumas vozes etc, mas achei legal mostrar dessa forma, quando tudo ainda está bem orgânico. É primeiro para os amigos, rs. Espero que goste, mas o que não gostar fique à vontade para falar, ok?
