Marcos Carnaval (a.k.a. Mark UC) is one of the most respected DJs and producers to come out of Brazil. This acclaimed NY-based executive has produced, remixed and licensed tracks for labels such as Tommy Boy, Ministry of Sound, George V Records, Star 69 and EMI Japan.
He has won multiple awards including DJ Sound Magazine’s best Brazilian DJ/Producer in 2000/2001. In addition, Marcos’ songs are featured on over 30 (thirty) CD compilations, a movie soundtrack, and 5 solo albums.
Some of his remixes charted on the "Billboard Hot Music / Club Play Top 100" and remained on the "Billboard Club Charts" for more than 20 weeks.
Marcos played at the Ultra Music Festival - Decade Edition in Miami (March 2008) and opened for Tiesto at the Brazilian Edition of the Ultra Music Festival in Camboriu, Santa Catarina (January 2009). Marcos has also played prime time at nightclubs in Austria, Albania, Croatia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Russia, Lithuania, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Connecticut, Philadelphia, Boston, New Jersey, New York, Sao Paulo, Porto Alegre, Brasilia, Cuiaba and PACHA in Buzios, Rio de Janeiro, one of his favorite super clubs.
