Maslow are an alternative 3 piece rockband based around the Limerick,Tipperary area of Ireland. Formed in 2005,they have been writing,recording and performing original material ever since.Debuting "Under the arches" in the 2005 clonmel junction festival,they have gone on to play venues throughout the country and have opened up for well known irish acts Fight Like Apes,FRED,Kila,Hooray for Humans and Royseven. Combing familiar sounds with their own unique brand Maslow have been inspired and influenced by a vast spectrum of music including prince,pixies,QOTSA,and the gun club. last summer they collaborated with malawian group Body,Mind and Soul creating a voodjazz,grunge,garage sound with raggae breakdowns,distorted guitars and thumping bass lines.in august 2008 they travelled to Malawi where they were international guests at the Music Crossroads Festival in Lilongwe. last october they were invited to perform at indie week 08 in Toronto,Canada.be sure to catch them at a town near you this year!

I remember you from Indie Week! I think I tried to add you back then but MySpace wasn't working that night. I may have even met you, I was around Vesta Varro quite a bit, I know for sure I tried to see one of your shows but I think it was too late by the time I got there, I would have to look at my notes again.
