Gifted with the ability of an incredible artist and songwriter, William Staggers is a combination of a “throwback” to the days of “Real Music” composed on real instruments along with the savvy beats of today. A native of Little Rock, Arkansas, William began playing the piano at age 3. By the time he was 12, William was a full-fledged musician in his church where he played piano for the choir and sang. Though his true artistry is literally the ability to make a piano or any keyboard “walk”, William is also an exceptional, accomplished saxophonist. His velvety smooth voice and playing abilities has enabled him to perform for a long list of dignitaries. On several occasions, William played jazz brunches for President Clinton. William has also performed at the mansion of Dallas Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones and has performed with many artists such as Al Green, Isaac Hayes, Albert King, Larry “Totsy” Davis and Ron Kenolly. He’s also opened shows for The Four Tops, Peabo Bryson, B.B. King, Johnnie Taylor, Javier, Johnnie Winters, Rick James, Koko Taylor, Freda Payne, Tyrone Davis, Shirley Caesar, "Comedian" Rich Little and many more. William currently owns and operates a recording studio, Staggers Music Entertainment, where he specializes in audio mastering. William has produced several albums for other recording artists across the country and has recently released his featured album, "SEARCHIN". At 6’5” and a wealth of stage presence, this single sagittarius is a natural live performer. The second oldest of four children, William credits his parents with providing a stable two-parent household and plenty of love for him to nurture his gift. A gift he looks forward to sharing for many generations to come. When William is not on the road or over seas, he can be seen performing in some of the distinguished restaurants and venues around town in Little Rock, Arkansas. Come out and hear William!!
