    Just checked myspace and saw you sweet comment with the pix from 'Sneha Yatra" Thanks for refreshing my my mind. NY1 News had a 1 hr segment today. I went to Yager's farm 10 years ago for the 30th celebration. Just missed Richie havens. He has e-mailed me a few times and loved my Beatles Tribute CD.  Recalling that visit, I felt like I was walking on "Holy ground" All present were of my generation bringing their children & grand-childre. Caught Pete Townshend & Santana which was amazing... now I'm going back 10 years.

    Today I resolved to try to meet Michael Lang. I'll send him my CD. You must have heard he has come out ith a movie "Taking Woodstock" Looking forward to seeing it. Hope he will respond. Also I want to visit the Woodstock Museum' Anywhooo, thanks for being in touch. Yours was the most sensible comment on myspace so I'm going to let it sit on top for the next couple of days. I don't get on myspace as often as I used to. Most of the comments are from 20-30 years olds hitting on a 60 year old man I guess I can take tahat as a compliment that I've still got the fire. I wan to record 3 more albums that I told you about 1. Part 2 oif my Beatles Tribute and a 2 CD tributeto 60s rock from India, I hope God will give me the same energy and the time to allow thee projects. Life in NYC is otherwise very very stressful and I'm barely making it.
    Peace brother. As always. Forgive all typos. having a few beers.

    Thanks for that wonderful comment about your memories. I do have a lot, but not the one of winning 'best vocalist' at Shanmuganda.. perhaps too many beers that nite! Below is an e-mail I never sent out after the attacks 'coz it was meant for my newer audiences, and I wondered if they'd relate.. Please read on....

    So many good memories about the Taj Mahal Hotel for now is in ruin, which I'm sure they will restore.

    I'd like to share a few glimpses of my early years there. I began my singing career there when I sang night after night at their basment discco ((when oncce LED ZEP was denied entrance) called "BLOW UP" 1971. I recall "SHAMIYANA" (another ground level restaurant at that time which I'm not sure was there there recently) when my wife Sophia dated me and took me there for the first time.

    And before I came to America, I sang at theoir rooftop nightclub then called "Rendedvoz" where I again performed for a month in 1979.

    The other Hotel..."OBEROI" also brings me back so many good memories. . They gave me asuite for 3 months. And I performed there night after night at ther rooftop "Supper Club" where most of famous film industry names like Sashi Kapoor and Zeenat Aman came to hear me sing then. I don't want to sound like I'm bragging.. coz all of you don't know these names.

    But just looking back, these landmarkk hotels will need a while brfore they are restoresd.


    I feel for my country. I feel so badly for all the innocent live taken out. I want to travel back, but my wife is afraid and so I may have to cancel plans.

    Above all I hope India won't go into agression over this ordeal, coz of a bunch of a dozen maniacs set this tragedy off, which I'm pretty sure has nothing to do with the ruling Goverments. America has been watchful over the years... and now I hope in some way it will help prevent a Nuclear Disaster.
