Laurah is making a name for herself as a lead singer with a sound far beyond her years. Her primary instrument is mandolin, but she occasionally contributes harmony fiddle as well. Laurah endorses Grady mandolins and Frank Daniels violins.
Sarah Mueller :: fiddle, vocals
Sarah is a fiddling and vocal powerhouse. A gifted songwriter, she has contributed many of the band’s unique arrangements and originals. Sarah endorses Frank Daniels violins.
John Mueller :: fiddle, harmony fiddle, guitar, vocals
Ten-year-old John’s high, soaring tenor voice invites comparisons to the historical prodigies of bluegrass singing. John frequently joins his sisters for The Muellers’ twin- and triple-fiddle arrangements. John endorses Frank Daniels violins.
George Mueller :: fiddle, mandolin, vocals
If you watch the Muellers, you’ll see little George, just six years old, strutting around with his tiny fiddle. Audiences delight in George's serious singing style and the heartbreak and prison songs he likes to perform.
Tom Mueller :: guitar, mandolin, vocals
Tom was a founding member of the band before he got sidetracked into jazz and classical music and left Maine to pursue a graduate music degree at the University of Notre Dame before returning to the band in 2007. A gifted guitarist, Tom also contributes the bulk of the band’s original material. Tom endorses Bourgeois Guitars and Grady Mandolins.
Karen Mueller :: bass, vocals
As is often the case in family bands, Karen was elected to the position of bass player by the family, but she has since come into her own as an instrumentalist. Audiences applaud her great feel and musical intuition.
Curt Mueller :: banjo, guitar, vocals
Curt began playing bluegrass during his childhood in his native Missouri, and has passed the tradition on to the rest of his family. Equally comfortable on banjo and guitar, Curt also possesses a clear tenor voice that embodies the traditional “high lonesome sound.”
Maine-based family bluegrass band The Muellers has put in a lot of mileage bringing their high-energy blend of traditional and original bluegrass to audiences across the country during the last few years, but they know that they still have many more miles to go—no small task for a band in which the majority of musicians are still too young to drive. Audiences across the country are taking notice of the band’s electrifying performances, twin- and triple-fiddling, unique arrangements, and musical maturity and poise that belies the band’s tender age.
With family roots in Missouri, the Muellers are firmly grounded in the bluegrass tradition. A true family band, The Muellers consists of parents Curt (banjo) and Karen (bass), plus five of their seven children: Tom (guitar), Laurah (mandolin), Sarah (fiddle), John (fiddle), and George (fiddle).
The Muellers' MasterShield Records debut project, Branching Out, was released in 2007, to positive reviews and national airplay. Their previous self-released albums are Silver Dollar (2006) and Family Favorites (2005).
The Muellers are the subject of a 2008 documentary film, Talent to Burn, which explored the early development of the band, and the effect that their musical career has had on their family life. The film can be viewed on The Muellers’ blog, Blank Page of the Road, or on Youtube.

The 3rd Annual Maine Cultural and Music Festival
On Labor Day weekend, September 4, 5, and 6, The Carriage house Café
and Dragon Knights Gift Shop will present the 3rd annual Maine cultural
and music festival in Livermore, Maine on route 4. The Festival will
present the Vikings of Vinhelm in a Viking village set up for you and
your family’s pleasure along with the Knights of Neville. Both groups
will give demonstrations in swordplay and will be happy to talk about
their history. The Neville Company is a medieval reenactment group
based in Gardiner that portrays a military unit of Sir Richard Neville,
Earl of Warwick, during the War of the Roses (1377-1485). The company
is involved in public demonstrations using dulled weapons while wearing
period armor.
The Vikings of Vinhelm are a live steel group, based primarily in
Maine, portraying the era from 750-1000 AD, focusing on Vikings in New
England.
Proceeds from the festival will go to two little boys who desperately
need miracle dogs to sniff out foods for their allergies. Ethan Rines
is a 4 year old, who lives in Turner, Maine and suffers a severe
allergy to peanuts. Kyle Kopec is a 10 year old boy who lives in
Freeport and suffers multiple allergies. These boys have received
donations to pay for the dogs down payment, but they will need to be
able to go to Colorado for 2 weeks with their families to train with
their dogs once the dogs are trained. The festival has some bands
booked to play now, JD hurt and his band 2 other guys play acoustic
guitar. Red Cross Sky will play also. They do classic rock. The Crash
road Band will also play classic rock. Asylum will also play as will
Paul Lovell Blues Machine. An exact schedule of performances will
follow soon.
There will be a medieval pig roast on Saturday and an old fashioned
chicken BBQ on Sunday. A beer tent will also be available for the
pleasure of adults in the evenings. Vendors are also welcome to sell
their wares and we hope to hear from more bands to play for y

CountryHome Forum have more than 5,000 members. Each news you submit to CountryHome Forum will released to my weekly Newsletter with more than 50,000 readers.
Please submit your artist news and events to CountryHome Forum to help your artists to get well known better in Europe. If you do not have the time to submit your artist news and events by yourself, please send it me to: Ch.Lamitschka@t-online.de and I will submit them by myself to CountryHome Forum.
I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.
I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.
Thanks
