Andy is B-Factor's founder member. He developed the concept for the group after the following the careers of other popular "boy band" group members and determining that he too could become a driving force in the music industry. Upon studying other popular boy bands, Andy determined that to be successful, B-Factor needed to take a different approach - a real approach - to its music. This, Andy recruited several of his friends in an effort to develop a pop music group that wasn't simply manufactured by record company executives.
Between the ages of 12 and 15, Andy received his first taste of show business. He worked as a reporter for the Peabody Award Winning Kid Company radio show, which aired weekly on WBZ-AM throughout New England.
In 1998, Andy graduated from public high school in North Reading, Massachusetts. He then began pursuing a college education, which he has temporarily put on hold in order to pursue his music career.
During his free time, Andy enjoys spending summers at his family's house in Maine, where he participates in all types of water sports. In the winter, Andy is an avid downhill skier.
While he credits such music groups as Backstreet Boys and NSYNC for helping him develop the concept for B-Factor, his musical influences include Elton John, Chicago, and Boyz II Men.
--Nic--
Nic has spent much of his life somehow involved in show business. Prior to joining B-Factor, he was a member of another Atlanta-based 'boy-band'
Several months after meeting the members of B-Factor during a show in Hawaii (where both groups were performing), Nic became friendly with Andy. When B-Factor began looking for a new member, Nic stepped in to fill the opening and later relocated to Boston.
Nic is an avid James Bond fan. He also loves playing video and computer games (particularly role playing games), hanging out with his brother Chase, and spending time with his friends.
As the flashy dresser in B-Factor, fans can always count on Nic to wear an outfit that's both trendy and attention grabbing, both on-stage and off. Nic is a high school graduate who credits much of his personal and professional success to his parents.

In a time when the music industry is being driven by record company executives who create and package "boy bands" made up of teens picked almost at random because they happen to fit a pre-created image or mold, one new group has actually been created by it's talented members. B-Factor is successfully taking a different approach - a real approach - to its pop music.
Andy Lawson, Nic Womble and Robbie Carrico are three "all American" guys with a passion for making music and entertaining. These real-life friends have joined forces to creat B-Factor. Unlike other "boy bands", B-Factor performs much of its own, original music -- written by its members.
These talented entrepreneurs are defining their own formula for success in the midst of the "boy band" clutter currently dominating the music industry. "I formed B-Factor in early 1999 because i saw the popularity of groups like the Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC and 98-Degrees and I wanted to become part of the music industry. In my heart, I knew I could form a group that would be just as good, if not better, than the groups already at the top of the music charts," explained Lawson.
"We chose the name B-Factor because it describes our purpose, goal and image. We're the Boys from Boston. We're writing and performing music we ourselves like and that we know todays young people will appreciate," said Womble.
Acording to Lawson, "I Robbie several years ago. With his background in modelling and his singing abilities, it was immediately clear he'd be a perfect fit for the group." Prior to joining B-Factor, Nic was a member of an Atlanta-based pop group. As word about B-factor has spread, the group has caught the attention of fans and music industry executives alike. "I think young people know when a music group has been created to follow a formula. Our approach is different. Being young ourselves, we know what people our age listen to and what type of music they appreciate and relate to. Our image and our sound is uniquely our own - it's real. We see our music as being a cross between pop and R&B," said Lawson.
In conjunction with Boston-based Maximillion Productions, Inc., B-Factor is currently writing and recording music for the soundtrack to be used in the upcoming motion picture 'Against The Wind', scheduled to begin filming in late-2002 and slated for theatrical release in 2004.
In early-June, the group will travel to sweden to work with Laidback Music AB and produce additional music for their debut album. The group is also slated to perform 'The National Anthem' at Major League Baseball games throughout the summer.

matthaeus you have gone and done it this time. since the last two months, I have been seeing some insane changes in patricks way of doing things, especially when it comes to him and the girls from school.
