Info over mijzelf:
Nato a Cremona il 9 giugno 1973. Laureato in Architettura presso il Politecnico di Milano. Da quindici anni si occupa di arte (pittura, installazione, fotografia, poesia, musica), realizzando mostre personali e collettive, partecipando a eventi multidisciplinari e collaborando con gruppi musicali. Nel 2008 il progetto “Bluesman” è stato selezionato per partecipare al BAC! 08 Réveille-toi! IX Festival Internazionale di Arte Contemporanea di Barcellona che ha avuto luogo presso il CCCB Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona.
Da piccolo avrebbe voluto essere Capitan Harlock.
Bluesman
Un progetto sulla diversità e una figura ripetuta, quella del bluesman Robert Johnson. Partendo da una matrice, ogni disegno viene ricalcato dal precedente: questo processo aumenta via via la differenza tra la matrice e i disegni realizzati in quanto è impossibile ricopiare fedelmente i tratti. I cento volti, tutti uguali eppure tutti profondamente diversi, portano all’interno un proprio racconto. Un percorso simile viene raccontato in cento modi differenti fino a formare cento frammenti di mondo. L’errore, astrazione di una caratteristica che appartiene solo a noi, ci rende unici: è l’anima di ognuno.
Un proyecto sobre la diversidad y una figura que se repite, la del bluesman Robert Johnson. A partir de una matriz, cada dibujo está calcado del anterior: este proceso aumenta cada vez más la diferencia entre la matriz y los dibujos sucesivos debido a la imposibilidad de reproducir fielmente los trazos. Las cien caras, todas iguales y asimismo profundamente distintas, llevan en su interior un relato personal. Nos cuentan un recorrido parecido de cien maneras diferentes hasta dar forma a cien fragmentos del mundo. El error, abstracción de una característica que sólo le pertenece a uno mismo, nos convierte en seres únicos: es el alma de cada cual.
A project about diversity and a repeated image, the bluesman Robert Johnson. Using a matrix as a starting point, all the drawings are traced out from the previous one. In the process, the difference between the matrix and the drawings increases as it is impossible to reproduce the traits precisely from one drawing to the next. The one hundred faces all look the same, but they are all deeply different from one another and each of them tells its own story. A similar path is told in one hundred different ways and they all constitute one hundred fragments of the same world. The error, the abstraction of a feature that belongs only to the individual, makes us unique. It is each individual’s real soul.
