Jaime Pina got his start as a founding member of the legendary LOS CREMATORS de Santa Maria and appeared with them on the THIS IS THE CENTRAL COAST...DAMMIT! vinyl compilation. After moving to Hollywood he soon joined CHEMICAL PEOPLE and played guitar on the records SO SEXIST!, TEN FOLD HATE, THE RIGHT THING and SOUNDTRACKS as well as countless singles and compilations. Shortly before leaving the CHEMS, Jaime joined them in performing with Dave Smalley as the first DOWN BY LAW line-up and played lead guitar on the first CD, uncredited as per his wishes. Upon leaving the CHEMS a deal was made for a solo CD and single on the Japanese label 1+2 Records and enlisting Dave Naz of the CHEMS and Pat Hoed of the NIP DRIVERS the ASTROBOY/ASTROGIRL 7" and BAD LATINO CD were recorded and released. This led to the forming of PRV13 PUNK ROCK VATOS and they appear on the FISTFUL OF ROCK N' ROLL and OLD SKARS AND UPSTARTS compilations. Jaime has played guitar for THE JEFF DAHL BAND, DINAH CANCER'S 45 GRAVE and had the honor of playing second guitar with the original members of CHRISTIAN DEATH for the 25th anniversary of the landmark album "Only Theatre of Pain" and toured Europe with them as CD1334. In 2008/2009 Jaime played guitar with BLACK FAG. And yes, this is also the same Jaime Pina that has written for FANGORIA, READ, GLUE and Varla.
