Joe & Johnny trained with a great bunch of people in Las Vegas, and become members of the disaster relief team on Pet Smart's Waggin' Train.
We met some great people at our volunteer interviews, and we thank them for stepping up on behalf of the animals. It was a terrific afternoon, and a good time was had by all. Our special thanks go out to the incredible folks at Chateau La Mer for a perfect location, and to our friends from the Gypsy Queens for their presence and support.
When we were asked to help Ribbon, we couldn't say no. Ribbon has suffered horribly as a bait dog, and we are bringing him from Kentucky to rehabilitate him and give him a better life. Please help us with your donations, so we can help this wonderful dog who has suffered so terribly.

Thanks to the generosity of Billy Rotando and his crew at Centre Millwork & Supply Co. in Island Park, we were able to construct a new home for a Great Dane and a Rotti who were in great need of adequate protection from the elements. Thanks guys, you rock!

Johnny O is working with the abandoned pups who were rescued from the side of the Meadowbrook Parkway, and are now safe thanks to our friends at Bobbie and the Starys.
There's only 3 words that describe this dog: Happy, Happy, Happy.
A 6-month old neutered male Jack / Terrier mix, Happy was rescued from an alley in Brooklyn,
where Joe found him hiding under a pile of debris, as workman were throwing demolition materials down from
a fifth floor renovation. Joe lifted up a sheet of wood and saw a wagging tail, he dug further and revealed a beautiful dog who needed to be saved.
This is a great dog, who deserves a great home. He's mellow and playful, and like we said, he's Happy!

As of 8am this morning (3/24/08)Clara has been returned to the owners.We all know on tuesday she was stolen with no leeds,on Friday RESCUE INK AND OUR FRIEND VINNIE PARCO WENT INTO THE UNDERGROUND STREETS OF HELLS KITCHEN AND PUT THE PRESSURE ON .In one day the dog is back ,family so happy and RESCUE INK does what they do best save animals God Bless and peace
You take a look at us, and maybe your first reaction is to cross to the other side of the street. Just remember to look both ways before you do.
We're not a gang, vigilantes or a social organization, but we do have that certain "in your face" style when it comes to animal abusers.
While we might hang out together once in a while at a hot rod show or a tattoo parlor, or hit the blacktop together on our bikes for a little road trip, the main thing that brings us together is our love of animals. We met because we were all doing the same thing on our spare time: rescuing and finding homes for abandoned and abused animals. None of us did it for money; we did it because we cannot stand by while anyone mistreats an animal!
We formed Rescue Ink because the problem of animal abuse and neglect has grown beyond the resources of the existing animal welfare agencies. We love the work done by some of the local shelters, but they cannot possibly keep pace with the volume of problems that need to be addressed.
That's where Rescue Ink comes in. We will stop at nothing within the bounds of the law to protect animals at risk. We will intercede without hesitation when we are informed of a situation that needs to be addressed, and we will address it. If we need to convince people to do the right thing ... we can be very convincing, we'll even buy animals if that's what it takes to get them away from abusers.
Rescue Ink is all about zero tolerance when it comes to animal abuse and neglect. Our ranks are growing everyday, as Americans from coast to coast are reaching out to join in our efforts. If you know something we should know, give us a call... NOW!
