   Info over Learning Music
Learning Music Monthly is a subscription based album-a-month series.

Download a free compilation of songs from LMM 2.1 - LMM 2.6 (originally released from March - August 2009): www.grilled.ch/eese

Learning Music began as a collaborative album-a-month project. Started in November 2006 by John Wood (keyboardist for Inara George, Sebastien Tellier, Mike Andrews, Kelly Osbourne, Anni Rossi, etc.), the series included an album recorded entirely on handheld cassette recorder, a collection of music videos, an autobiographical musical written by a robot, and dozens of homemade electro-acoustic folk-pop anthems. Twelve months and twelve albums later, Wood decided it was time to get out of the house. Inspired by the early works of Terry Riley, the Talking Heads, Storm & Stress, and Woody Guthrie, Learning Music became a live band, which has included as little as four to as many as twenty musicians at one time (usually averaging around fifteen people). One year after the original series concluded, having established the band with two month-long residencies in Los Angeles and a handful of other performances, the album-a-month schedule now resumes.

Yes sir, I'm glad that you asked - in fact, John Wood IS fearless! He was born without certain glands and cells that promote instinctual fear, something out of a marvel comic book, but real. John Wood is real. So, fearless promotion is nothing new to Won Ju, eurasian basketball phenom. 7 habitat for humanity builds, sponsors 3 aboriginal tribes simply from the royalties he accrues from the naughty by nature videos he produced. For John Wood, in the words of Frank Sinatra, it was a very good year.

There are people
Who would keep a
Weary eye upon a peep hole
Of a door
Looking for
Someone to befriend before
Saying simply
I am guilty
Of the want to have you with me
So it goes
We are those
Who will say aloud in prose
Thanks to thee
For finding we
The wacky Atma Family
We won’t run
From what you've done
We accept you as our chum
We won't hide
If you come by
We accept you in our Pride
Of Lion Cubs
Smoking dubs
Or if your sober, we don't judge
Thanks again,
Know its been
A creamy treat to call you "Friend"

Three cheers For Beers! (Or Ginger-ale)

Love
