Originally from South Dakota, Amanda Conway played music in there and a few other random states from 2003-2009
Her first public performance was in June 2005, where she was approached to record and play Rapid City's annual, "Acoustic Revolution". Conway came out with a rough cut demo in late 2005. One hundred copies of it were made and distributed for free only. People really loved her music for a good two years while she came out with yet another Demo; "Amanda Conway: the more proffessional sounding demo", in 2006. In early 2007, listener rates dropped dramatically, but Amanda managed to squeeze out an actual CD entitled, "Milk and Cigarettes". 100 copies were produced and half of them are sitting in an old cardboard budweiser box somewhere in her mother's garage. In 2009, Conway decided to give ole Gertrude a rest and after receiving a Bachelor's degree in Pedophile Profiling, worked for the military for 30 years, all before retirement.
Amanda Conway currently resides in a place that isn't South Dakota and spends her time sipping on prune juice, feeding strey animals, watching QVC, and growing grey hairs.
