Ivor Cutler Poet/songwriter/humourist Unique Possibly still the only person to have works commissioned by Radios 1, 2, 3 AND 4. Was mates with Paul McCartney and John Lennon and played the part of Buster Bloodvessel in the Magic Mystery Tour. He invented the name before Bad Manners did. They are great band too tho.

Syd Barrett Founder Member of Pink Floyd and Psychadelic Genius. His work with Floyd and solo excellent. Also early Floyd after Syd left tho it was a bit patchy

Televisie
OMG yes I watch TV. I usually record everything I am interested in seeing then watch it on video. That way there is usually something worth watching lol. Though sometimes I may be a few weks behind depending on how busy Ive been. A few progs I like in no particular order: Doctor Who (new and old), Lost, Spooks, Eastenders (why? wish I knew Ive given up on all the other soaps), The Bill, Afterlife, Supernatural, Charmed, The other one on BBC1 with Bill Patterson, Dr Who (I know I said it before but I really like it), etc
Boeken
Rarely read books these days due to being vision impaired but my faves are fantasy books. Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Both Chronicles of Thomas Covenent (6 books), The Dragons of Pern series. Big fave is The Dispossessed buy Ursula Le guin. Isaac Asimov. Phillip K Dick Terry Pratchet etc
Helden
is a really great song. One of Bowies best its about Love against outstanding odds.
Info over mijzelf: I am a 48 year old bloke living alone in Middlesbrough. I like to think I'm a fairly nice person. But no idea what other people think.
I am registered disabled as I am visually impaired and I had to give up driving in December 2005. My sight varies a lot. On a good day I see quite well though never perfectly (even with Glasses) sometimes One person suggested I apply to be a soccer referee so when the crowd chant "Ref are you blind" I can reply "Yes".
I have 2 children a Step daughter 27 who is married and has given me my first grandchild. And a son who is 12 he lives with his mother but I see him quite often.
I think I have a good sense of humour (though some people would debate this). Though it can be quite silly at times and a bit wicked at others.
I spent 6 months in Australia in 1981 just before Uni. Also in my younger days I performed in Amateur Pantomimes, and enjoyed creating what I creatively call "Music". I was unhindered by anything like technical ability or an even reasonable voice. But I enjoyed what I did even if not many others did. I still get the urge at times so be scared VERY scared lol.
I like an extremely WIDE range of music and particularly love hearing something I like that Ive no heard before. I am trying to get out and see more gigs than I have done for a while, particularly like seeing new bands that are good.
If you add me please also send a message saying why you are adding me. Thank You
