About me:
Even as a little girl I've been extremely introwertic, creative and imaginative. I'm a loner and people think I'm strange but some of them appreciate my very subjective point of view.
My name is Malgorzata Weronika Jasinska but I am also known as eempatiaa / empatia or Inf3ctedDoll. I have spent my lonely childhood in a city called Grudziadz (Poland) and I still live here. When I was little I used to make a lot of drawings, especially portraits of Manga & Anime characters. I always knew that I am an artist but I didn't know yet in which medium should I work. So that I decided to join the music school for playing piano but it didn't become my destiny. I also tried with other kinds of art but I wasn't cut out for them. There was no comparison with drawing and painting.Through the next years my works have been appreciated and won some contests.
About four years ago after designing only layouts for blogs I started making photomanipulations and other digital artworks. It was a dead-centre in my development. I discovered that there is something better for me than just traditional art. In a short time I have learned a lot about manipulaing pictures in various ways. My digital artworks are mostly dark or surreal. I really enjoy designig this but after some time it wasn't enough, I also wanted to take images I manipulate.
Three years ago on my sixteenth birthday (and yes, this year I am nineteen years old) I got a digital camera. In photography my main subject is a portrait of human though of my asociality. Because of isolation that it brings I am the model on the most of my pictures.
For a long time I couldn’t decide between graphic design and photography. I guess photomanipulating is some kind of compromise which really satisfies me and my artistic ambitions. Recently I also work in old good traditional techniques and since October 2008 I'm studying Artistic Education in the area of Visual Arts at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Poland.
My curse is my gift. My nightmares, deep sensitivity and emotional instability gives the best (and uncomfortable) inspirations I could ever have. For me art is passion and visions, the mirror, which shows my feelings and connects me with the rest of the world. Nothing can't save me from demons in my head but art is the one which keeps me alive and doesn't let me go crazy, but sometimes..
Thank you for the add....that tune on your profile is dope. Never heard of them before, will have to investigate further. Reminds me of Massive Attack a bit. I like the guitar sounds as well. Have you got any recommendations?
Je ne sais pas si je pourrai venir demain, alors avec un peu d'avance, je te souhaite un joyeux anniversaire. J'espère que tu vas bien. Excellent dimanche.
oh wow, congrats! I'm also in the process of shedding some unwanted weight :) been swimming lots, it's starting to pay off, woo!
howzabout we come up with a concept? we could use our faces! I'm thinking two girls, one fair (you) one dark (me) and doing something cool... and eery :)
ur paintings will be awesome..ur visions are superb! all u have to remember with painting is patience!! dont try to finish a painting in one day(sometimes a painting can take months)..after each session.. let it dry...get back to it in a few days and paint over it to make it better. painting is all about layers and glazes(in da vincis MONA LISA experts have noticed he used about 1000 thin layers!!) the more layers of paint, the more glow and transparencies. think of oil painting as a clay!! you have to model forms..build mass and then apply thin layers of cool colors in the edges to make the images recede in space :)
hi!! thanks for stopping by...my works are not airbrushed...most of my work is done in oil paints..sometimes i use an acrylic wash for underpainting. i always wanted to try the airbrush...i love the effects u can get with the airbrush..one of my favorite airbrush artist is HR GIGER.
