Invisible Mode x !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:
Invisible mode originally began when Tommy ( vocals) decided he wanted to channel his musical creativity and form a band (LOL)! He went about looking for talented musicians in which to help create musical genius. Randomly, one drunken night, he discovered his good friend nick was rather handy on the drums, nick agreed to be in the band, and now what was needed was a guitarist. Luckily, a week l8er, tommy saw dave walking across a road near corn street! This was good fortune as tom had not seen dave for a whole life time ( 4 years) since school. Dave was asked to be the guitarist of our band, and he agreed therefore forming what you now know as INVISIBLE MODE!
First ever practice session**
The first time we all got together was for a pint ( or 7) and cheesy chips at all in one bar at park street! We then ventured down the road for a are first practice session at Basement studios. The first song we ever made was on this night and it was called wait for me! ( re recording of wait for me will take place as the lead singer had bronchitus so it sounds shit at the moment lol)!
C*O*B*R*A started in march and it is a college funded course that allows musicians 3 hours a week practice at a studio and the chance to record material! ( this helped alot, shout out to Jim the producer, cheers)!
The name**
Are name Invisible mode was thought of by tommy at first, after he played on a mint computer game called goldeneye on N64 ( how old), but the meaning is that of people seeing right through you and discarding your thoughts and opinions just because you do not conform to a typical stereotype or look a certain way, this is whats known as being in
Invisible mode*!
The meaning of our music***
Lyrically, the songs are based on different emotions or ideas that the band feel at certain times, or have felt at certain times in there lifes.
*Open*
open's melodic upbeat guitar and sick beat, and the lyrics that accompany them, represent a feeling of happiness and a feeling of determination ' you can do anything if you believe in yourself '. For example the opening line ' An open lane is an open road and an open road can take you anywhere you want'. This song is unofficially known as 'the happy song'!
*The lost boys*
Matt pullin (guitar), and wayne mannings ( bass), were meant to be part of Invisible mode! They agreed to be in the band, but then failed to show up to practice or contact us! Therefore no bass, but are unique sound has probably benefitted and helped us to write such guitar driven Alternative Rawk xx
*Thankyou*
To Jim, Basement studios, Indefinite ending, and all are friends and family that have supported us, it means alot! Also, a big thankyou to are myspace fans for being so kind and giving us encouragement, come to our next show and will play are hearts out for you, and also give you a special preview of firefly pt 2, which looks set to be as good as the original firefly!!!!!
Peace, luv 2 all and keep spread the word about the Invisible mode era!
we love you all like cake on a sunday morning (alot)!!!!!!!
Davey boy, Tommy B, and slick nick x x

The Basement Studio is now running free open access sessions in Bristol again. These sessions are for young people at all levels of music interest and experience. There are two areas: Live music – with drum kit, bass, electric or acoustic guitars, keyboard and mics; Urban music – with music tech, DJing and MCing. There are 3x 40 min slots in each area every session. Each area is run by a tutor who will talk to you about what you want to do - and help you do it. There are also youth workers who can help you get info and advice on anything you need to know about and are generally up for a chat. They can also help you get certificates such as National Youth Achievement Awards or Arts Awards – either for the music you make or for other projects. Call the Basement (0117) 934 9013 for more info – or just turn up. We’re at the Unicorns, Colston Street (next to Colston Hall), on Tues and Thurs eves, 7.30-10pm. When you’re standing in front of Colston Hall there’s an archway directly to the right. Walk through there, make for the double brown doors (next to the bins) – through them and downstairs to the Unicorns.
