Bainbridge Island, WA-born Mark Reveley and Los Angeles-based Emma Lucia first began playing together under the Jed and Lucia moniker in 2005.
The pair, who conjure up an intoxicating blend of modern electronic folk-pop that brings to mind Björk, Boards of Canada, and the Bird and the Bee, met in the mid-'90s and played in various groups before self-releasing their 2006 debut, Candles in Daylight. The Berkeley-based duo's dreamy and cinematic sophomore effort, Superhuman Heart, arrived in October 2010. ~ James Christopher Monger
