Most people know that Genghis Khan, known first as Temujin was the founder of the Mongol Empire, the largest contiguous empire in history. Coming to power by uniting the tribes he went on to start the Mongol invasions and raids of Kara-Khitan Khanate, Caucasus, Khwarezmid Empire, and the Western Xia and Jin Dynasties. His empire occupied most of Central Asia and China.
What most people do not know about Genghis is that he was buried in an unmarked grave somewhere in Mongolia at an unknown location and that his descendants went on to stretch the Mongolian Empire across China, Korea, the Caucasus, Central Asia, and modern parts of Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
However the most amazing fact of all is that a direct descendant of Genghis is currently living here in Virginia Beach. This man of great status and power has chosen to keep his identity hidden to protect his family, friends, and adoring followers. For if his enemies knew of his heritage they would surely hunt him down. To quiet the ancient battle cry that stirs within he slays nightly with his electric guitar bringing peace to his war torn soul. Recent research suggests that he frequents an establishment known as H2O on Shore Drive to rip his chords and calm his inner call to the wild. This great man is known only as Genghis Chong!
