I adore music, the music that I feel drawn to is something I find vital and inspirational, music brings so much to my life, I don't know what I would do without it. So many people I have encountered in my life seem merely content to let the radio, the media, and marketing companies dictate what they should listen to, I've never understood that kind of passive reaction to music. I'm constantly searching for new music to transcend the blandness of everyday existence. My drive for music is pretty fuckin' insatiable. I enjoy the ragggaaarrrrgggghhhh and the exquisitely pretty. Shimmery and spiky. Transcendent and nefarious.

Too small to pursue his dream of becoming a closet monster, despite being rather adept at lurking and looming (for as we all know, lurking is loitering with intent), young Jimmy now spends his days sleeping and his nights drawing weird things.

ahahah i laughed my ass of to some of those (like actual Lmao, not the lmao people put in their messages when something mildly amuses them) the star wars theatre quote about crying at the end of mygirl when macauly culkin dies with boba fett gazing over you... and that star trek urn haha omg that is tragic, that had me piss myself too.
i swear someone sent me a link to this site just yesterday about top ten politiclly incorrect dolls, not sure if it was this site, but im hooked now :p
as a matter of fact there is a recording and i do have a copy. it was an improv basement jam session done in 2004 haha, my flatmate and i cut the sessions into an 18 track cd, the dr who song being on there. unfortunatly my copies in NZ stored in an attic. i listened to it last year and actually liked it. see thing was my flatmate and i were involves in it for shits and giggles and i also did it to further my musical prowers/experience. he'd smoke pot and id down shots of absinthe and we'd dress up really stupid and dance around like idiots at these practices.
as for the dr who house, like yeah seriously, youd probably wanna take that stuff out of the house whilst taking real estate pics to sell it. the tackyness would devalue it haha
i had a side project once where i was playing bass and keyboard, slightly joy division/electro/improv,kinda thing you do when your musically frustrated. i and my flatmate who was also a singer in a band (played drums in this one) joined cos the main guy was seriously messed in the head and about 40 years old, used to approach us in the street stuttering with what appeared to be chalk on his face to whiten it, whilst dressed very much like David Bain (ironically he was from dunedin as well). there was no way i was passingup this opportunity. anyway whilst jamming i started playing the dr who theme on bass and the other 2 followed suit on their instruments, it was soo amazing haha. we played with famous welington Indie band "disasteradio" who invited me (as i was playing synths in most songs) to do a side project with him which i never got round to doing because candyscar was on the rise readying for 1st gig and an ep etc.. and eventually that guy ends up on C4 haha.
yes precisely, i looked them up when 1st got here actually to ee if they were still active and all that was there was 2 local shows in Portsmouth within a 3 month period at very small bars, and checked their istory and it seemed like theyd become jus a local band now, so when i saw the london gig i was quite excited. anf the pic comment? what on earth did you mean? haha
ahh no problem, im still deciding weather to go to cranes,i think i should go though, i mean fuck, The CRANES!. i hope they play starblood. thing is theres soo many concerts in London sometime i feel "oh theyll be back again" but the cranes have been in the wilderness for a while so im fuessign London shows are rare
