Books
The Quotable Lewis is fascinating. I also enjoy spiritual books and readings that enlighten you and help mold your persona. "Mere Christianity" by CS Lewis is brilliant! I could read that book every day and learn something new. He is amazing. "Eat Pray Love" is a good one, "Why Men Love B@tches" (I had to throw that one in there), and anything by Mary Higgins Clark (love my mystery novels).
Heroes
Jesus for obvious reasons. Eleanor Roosevelt (woman of character, integrity and strength...love her wit); C.S. Lewis (profound man, Atheist in his earlier years, converted to Christianity); Van Gogh (a deeply suffered, unrequited soul who turned his pain into masterpieces)
