About me:
Hello! I am a playwright, screenwriter and sketch writer. I studied Drama at Exeter University before going on to work as a researcher in factual film, then I was commissioned to write a feature script for award winning indie, Stone City Films. My short film King Jeff won the I-Blink International Screenwriting Competition and was awarded Borough Production funding. The film stars Jeremy Swift (The Smoking Room) Ben Crompton (Man Stroke Woman, Ideal) and Kulvinder Ghir (Goodness Gracious Me). I have a second film project in development with Blink Productions and I was also recently short listed for a workshop with the BBC Writersroom, as part of their “Sharps” initiative, aimed at developing emerging screenwriters.
I have written for several sketch shows on the London comedy circuit and for the BBC 7 topical show "Tilt" (with Nick Mohammed and Isy Suttie) as well as developing material for corporate clients. My material has so far been performed at numerous venues including The Hackney Empire (As a new act of the Year Finalist) Arthur Smith's Cut Price Comedy, The Albany, The Canal Cafe Theatre, The Kommedia Brighton, The Bedford Arms, The Hen and Chickens, The Pleasance Islington, The White Bear, Madam Jo Jos, The Camden Etc and The Disestablishment, (Peter Cook's old comedy club) Festivals include Edinburgh, the Camden Fringe, The Henley Festival and the Guardian Literary Festival. I am also a contributor on the House of Mirth Podcast with the very lovely and talented Pegabovine, available on www.pegabovine.co.uk.
My first stage play, The Bigger Picture, was produced at the Blue Elephant Theatre and the Arundel Arts Festival. My second play, Quitters, has been performed at the Covent Garden Theatre Museum, the Pacific Playhouse in London and also at the Citylit Theatre, Chicago. I am currently developing a new play for BBC Radio 4 with Celador Productions, a new sitcom and a part live action / part animation feature.
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone who might be interested in reading a new sitcom and a part live action / part animation feature. People who want to work with me who won't do this...

We do care about members! In fact as soon as our profile is hacked we will be sending a link to a complimentary $500 Macy's card to you. We hope you accept this lack of security as a valid apology and feel free to spend it as carelessly as you like.
I'm sorry you're not entirely comfortable with "this". Is it the uniform? I know blue and yellow checks can be hard to pull off for some people. Maybe it's the tie? The 400 page training manual? Our political agenda perhaps. Or just the uneasy realiazation that Jules's are plural, you are not unique?
Jules Inc. appreciate your concerns and want you to know, we are a listening, caring organization. just like the Midland Bank used to be before it went all HSBC. Without the Griffin. Unless you know of one called Jules?
David Cross and friends are coming to town tomorrow, London town. We are pleased to announce David Cross, Eugene Mirman, Todd Barry and Kirsten Schaal will be writing blogs exclusively for the Fix you can see them by checking here.
Ooh, you do all sorts of fun comedy writing! I'm going to go exploring on the websites you linked to, in search of funnies. In the mean time, I hope you'll find time one day to come to The After School Club!
