Something old and something new at the same time...
"There were always in me, two women at least,
one woman desperate and bewildered,
who felt she was drowning and another who
would leap into a scene, as upon a stage,
conceal her true emotions because they
were weaknesses, helplessness, despair,
and present to the world only a smile,
an eagerness, curiosity, enthusiasm, interest."
- Anais Nin
"There is no excellent beauty that hath not some strangeness in the proportion. "
- Sir Francis Bacon

thanks katrina! your stuff is terrific! if you ever need tenor saxophone on a live gig or recording session let me know. also, i'm working on some solo music i plan to record later this year and would like female vocals on a couple of numbers. kind of like the style of the song haunted with shane mcgowan and sinnead o'connor, nick cave and pj harvey. i did vocals for a rock band project (www. myspace. com/bloodpenny) but it's not my style. take care, ric

Loved the Bitterest of sweets song! It has a certain... theatrical/cabaret-ish swing to it I find irresistable. (downloaded it for my iPod already)
Your yorkies look beastly adorable. Had one as I was growing up. Actually she was growing up along with me too... Loving and protective little beasties.
