Actually, I don't have too much to be sad about, I just moved to Buenos Aires for some profit from my skills as a native English speaker, and they just finished holding their first annual comic festival... they're almost as popular as porn out here (and that says a lot, porn is everywhere here, fully frontal fully visible). Do you think your stuff would translate well? Hmm...
