Kid Kameleon has been mixing, mashing, and maximizing bass genres for over 10 years, ever since he got his start with
DJ Spooky and the
Soundlab collective in New York in the late 90s. A champion of outsider music styles and eclectic mixing techniques rooted in a core of hip-hop, jungle, and dub, these days the Kid’s sets take in ever-widening genres from breakcore to b-more, dubstep to dancehall, club, pop and even rock. He’s proudly performed in over two dozen countries, from Canada to Estonia, and has shared the stage with

scholar, his work ranges from measuring the social interactions of online networks to the implications of file-sharing on music business models, and he has worked with the
Electronic Frontier Foundation to assess the laws and policies that affect the connection between creative communities and technology. Ultimately, his eclectic sets have bar tenders dancing on their own bars, and they put smiles on faces of all types of club goers. Check out

It pulls together a lot of my favorite Baltimore tracks of the last couple years... there's a few classics in there but a lot of it is from some of the names that have gotten big in the last little bit. Mad EP's experiments lead him to take 80's hiphop beats, but instead of giving them a modern polish, he chose to toss them down a volcano and let them bake in Dante's Inferno until charred to perfection. Burnt to a crisp and magma oozing from the pores, the beats were then road tested before finally submitting them to Area Filthy One. The result is a collection of 3 apocalyptic anthems (plus a heavyweight remix by Akira Kiteshi) for ultimate dancefloor destruction.

Recorded in his own studio based in Rome, after 3 years of hard work and changes, Crazy Glue contains different musical experiences that the artist experimented reaching an original sound after the past releases on labels such Subculture and Urban pressure.
The E.P. is a set of tunes that ranging from jumpup to neurofunk. Much attention is given in the sound and rhythmic arrangements and it is into melodic tracks such as “bad”, “when I go” and “stop” that this collage get maximum pressure into dance floors.
You can for sure find some inspiration from this funny, yet serious, sticky, tricky album, Where we blending past and future into carzy present.

On the flip side, the two tracks "Yellular" & "Plastic Hip" explore the more sparse rhythms and tones of Poxxe's sound. Amboss: Kompressorwahn/Avenida Paulista (Sub/Version 014) OUT NOW! The most relentless Sub/Version release so far! Two mighty tracks combining a wall of sound with rave hyper-energy. Side A "Kompressorwahn" kicks off with stepping tension-oriented rave-esque melodies quickly culminating in the most extreme pounding beats that throttle your nerves and whip the dancefloor into a frenzy with no end in sight.
