Ophir "Kutiman" Kutiel, has already established himself at the age of 25 as a promising musician, playing drums, keyboards, guitar and bass (among others) with various local bands and outfits for the past five years (Anikuku, Bikini, Funknstein...). Lately he has been concentrating more on the production side of things along with Dj Sabbo (Sabbo & Kuti), and the result is projects that have become major hits over national airwaves (Soulico Crew, Noa Faran, Axum...).
Here Kutiman sets the pace with what may be described as his more personal side: a full length home assembled album, made of live recordings of him and some of his affiliate musicians (Elran Dekel, MC Karolina, Idan Kupperberg,Sangit, etc). Most of the album was recorded during the previous winter as a reaction to a confusing return to Tel Aviv after a long trip to Jamaica, where he cut his teeth working with artists such as Damian Marley, Stephen Marley and Turbulance. ..............

Your music is really inspirational, Kuti! There seem to be so many influences in your sound. It is not just a recreation of the god ole funky music. It's groundbreaking. Thanx & I hope there will be a new album in 2009!
