A special thank you to Charles Cross (renowned author of Hendrix, Cobain and Springsteen biographies) for overseeing the project and readings at this ceremony as well as Bonnie Fitzgerald who coordinated this landmark event. Excellent job Bonnie, your efforts this day were truly unforgetable.

Jimi is always with me, he is never far away. I only have to get in my car and hear him sing to me if the radio is on, he comes through and he is with me. Me and my band, our music is of the SPIRIT of GOD and in memory of my brother James Marshall Hendrix and our family history.
THANK YOU to those who support my music work. I truly do it from love and the inspiration my brother left me with. It is an honor to play because Jimi was and remains such a great man. People say to me, "Leon, what is it like to live in the shadow of Jimi?" I just reply, "It's not a shadow...it’s the shade." Thank You Jimi for being a Father Figure, a Big Brother and an Inspiration to me first and then rest of the world. I’ve had a great life no matter what's happened, nobody has seen what I’ve seen! I watched Jimi play the broom and tie string to the bed posts and pluck it for fun when we were little. I’ve seen it all it seems, yet tomorrow still holds so much, THANK YOU JESUS!.
I am very happy to be online as I’ve enlisted the help of my guitar player Stefen Isaac aka JYPSYEYE. On behalf of the band and myself, I’ve asked and he has accepted... Stefen handles the mail (which I get when I can get to it), the band poster art and the webpages for me since his hand at it is what it is. We will be putting video online here soon and putting our show dates here too.
