In fact, despite what my mother always told me, the older I get the more I find myself listening to aggressive music. (I already hate your lame ass Emo band, and I haven't even heard it.) Sure I still have a soft spot for some of the poppier bands now and then, but basically if your band isn't providing me with an unrelenting sonic assault, you'd better be pretty friggin' amazing not to bore me to tears.

Hey schmuck... Just because I listen to and compose Industrial music doesn't mean I'm a Nazi. (And just because I like your music, that doesn't mean I agree with your simpleminded politics, left or reich.)
Don't bother contacting me with your "evidence" about your racial and social theories -- your tattered, hand-me-down Weltanshaung -- that you're obediently quoting from a paphlet you were handed in a pub (or downloaded from the Internet). I have many Jewish, Asian, homosexual, and other "minority" friends. My wife is Indian. And so on. I judge people as individuals, and I don't respect the mental weaklings (Leftist or Rightist) who can't do that.
Regarding this obsession with race in some parts of the Industrial "scene" I quote Oswald Spengler, great hero to many ultra-rightists, in his book The Hour of Decision:
''Race purity is a grotesque word in view of the fact that for centuries all stocks and species have been mixed, and the warlike -- that is, healthy -- generations with a future before them have from time immemorial always welcomed a stranger into the family if he had 'race,' to whatever race it was he belonged. Those who talk too much about race no longer have it in them.''
I may not agree with most of Spengler's other writing, but at least I've read it, which seems to be more than one can say for many of his "fans."
And, as the great philosopher Nietzsche said in The Geneaology of Morals:
"They [the antisemites] are all men of ressentiment, physiologically unfortunate and worm-eaten, a whole tremulous realm of subterranean revenge, inexhaustible and insatiable in outbursts against the fortunate and happy."
Racism, sexism, and other forms of bigotry represent an addiction to apriori judgments in lieu of independent thought. Living by assumptions makes you mentally weak. If you lack the mental prowess to decide a person's worth on their individual merits, then it is your own worth that should be questioned.
That said, don't bother me with your racist Hippie garbage about how having an interest in European history and culture is inherently evil and Nazi, either. To quote Michael Moynihan: "I make no apology about my interest in European culture. Europe is my spiritual homeland... I encourage everyone to find out as much as they can about their heritage." The old canard of "it's acceptable to be racist against white men becaue they're the opressor" is just another form of mentally deficient apriori judgment.
Finally, with respects to my interest in the aesthetics of Communism and Fascism (and of war and power more generally)-- if you don't understand that art, film, and music can tell stories without necessarily promoting them, refrain from sharing your ignorant views on that subject with me as well.
I'm not going to change my opinions of people based on what some group of musicians says, no matter how much I like their music, and I sure as hell am not going to change them because of what you think. Being led like a sheep isn't avant garde, it's just pathetic.
Remember: There are plenty of good reasons to be disgusted with people... and you may very well be one of them.
