Movies
random as they may be my favorite movies are: a christmas story (you'll shoot your eye out, kid!), ferris buellers day off (life moves fast), the good the bad and the ugly (nobody kicks ass like Clint), love jones / when harry met sally (every girl's gotta have a sappy love story to bring tears to her eyes), the breakfast club (it may just be my white side; but ya'll know you watched it too - at least I didn't say Grease ;)
Television
I don't get to watch too much tv, when I do I prefer good drama's, sci-fi or show's where I can learn something. Lame, yes; but like I said I don't watch too much of it.
okay, I'll watch old or new episodes of girlfriends, sex in the city, living single. like I said, I don't watch it much so even the reruns might be new to me
Books
a few books that I can read over and over are:
"being peace" by thich nhat hanh, "who are you sue snue" & "one fish, two fish" by dr. suess
(I told you that I'm a proud parent but that has nothing to do with these choices)
Heroes
my heroes are in every day life, like: Silas Hill- my "life coach" you are genius, I would not be where I am today if it were not for you! Naomi- my "Mommy mentor", Rich- a man gifted beyond measure, my Daddy- the best kind of angel a girl could have to help guide her through this city of wind, and I could never forget Taj & Aja- 2 sisters who have taught me how to let go and enjoy the moment!

still..it's ridiculous that i miss you and we have not seen each other in so long. my sister and best friend is coming up the weekend of october 24th...you come into the city for a night..saturday night and party with us. i have a place for you to stay. get a sitter! i mean it!!!!
