we're gutted your closing down we played our first gig at the little civic and have stayed loyal since, the little civic is by far the best place in wolverhampton for new bands and up and coming bands to play, wolverhampton will become more of a shit hole without the little civic
Just heard the sad news that you are closing we would like to say good bye to a old friend, we can honestly say we have had some great nights @ The Little Civic and you will be missed. And many thanks to all of the staff who have been great to us and helped us to put on some special nights over the last couple of years.

Static Rain is a 2 piece band from the beautiful Yorkshire town of Keighley. Band members Tony Garthwaite and Jacob Barlow formed the band in 2008, driven by a joint passion for both electronic music and retro synths. The music they produce can be described as electronic pop with catchy choruses and memorable riffs that are prominent in all of their songs, making them popular with a very wide audience.
Following their initial success on MySpace, Static Rain continues to build a solid fan base and a strong reputation as a live act. The band is currently looking for gigs from June 09 onwards throughout the whole of the UK.
