Lonesome Shack is Ben Todd on guitar, singing and foot percussion, and Kristian Garrard on drums. Ben developed much of his sound in the isolation of New Mexico's Gila Wilderness. His music draws from traditional American folk, blues and spiritual music but maintains a voice all it's own. Kristian Garrard is a multi-instrumentalist who plays in several bands and projects including Thousands, KRGA and Heatwarmer. Melissa Brandts and her husband stopped to take a photo using their camera's self-timer while vacationing in Canada. Intrigued by the sounds of the camera, a curious ground squirrel came over to check things out and popped into the frame right at the perfect moment.
