Maniatika is the fusion of artists Raimon Jc and Rockoder.

Raimon began his musical career in 1993 attending to music, guitar, and
bass guitar lessons at the Conservatori de Girona, and also a Jazz and
modern music school. After several years in different bands where he got
various concerts around Spain, he evolved until beginning in the world of
electronic music. As a DJ, he has been part of associations like Oval-Music
or Sanae Group, playing sets in many clubs along the likes of Le Rachdingue,
Eixclub, La Sala del Cel, KGB, etc. After settling in this music style, and
evolving as a DJ, in 2004 he began his career as a producer. From this stage
the most outstanding tracks like “Expression”, “Rotation”, “Insomni, or digital
productions like “Alone”, “Discharge Combustion”, edited by himself under
his own label, Hypnotic Creations.

Rockoder began his musical career back in 1999. He started of DJing until he
progressed until he found his own musical style. After a few years playing in
different clubs, he entered in Sanae Group, its only then when he really
settles as a dj, playing in venues like La Sala del Cel, Le Rachdingue, Palm
Beach Club, Oxid… In 2003, the Senglar Rock festival included electronic
music in their line-up for the first time ever, where Rockoder stunned all the
attendants with one of his best sets ever. After Sanae Group slowly fell part,
he became part of Hypnotic Creations, beginning here his career as a
producer. His vast knowledge about computers have helped him evolve
quickly in this new environment and quickly master the different devices that
he has acquired over the years.

From the joining of their experiences, they both began at a new level, where
they put behind all that had been achieved to the date, to start working on
live electronic sets, thus the beginning of their project Maniatika.
In their sets you can see a strong connexion between them and a carefully
worked style, having up to seven tracks playing simultaneously. Its obvious
by now that just playing on decks has become too small for them now, and
they are thinking bigger by playing a live format, this way being able to play
infinite amounts of sounds, effects and tracks making even the lazying
clubber dance. After more than two years creating their own style, Maniatika
has began to make themselves know at clubs like: Blau Club, Sala KGB,
Row14, La Boite or in festivals like Pulse or Mipanas.
Maniatika now has five references available in digital format: Techmotion,
Numeric, Two Months, Biotechnology and Beliefs.
Their preferences are playing live, or live-jockey, but they
know very well that they aren’t going to stop producing.

Maniatika es la fusion de los artistas Raimon Jc y Rockoder.

Raimon Jc. empezó su carrera musical en el año 1993 realizando clases de
solfeo, guitarra y bajo en el Conservatori de Girona y la Escola de Jazz y
música moderna. Tras estar varios años en grupos musicales donde acumuló
numerosos conciertos por toda España, evolucionó hasta iniciarse en el
mundo de la música electrónica. Como dj ha formando parte de colectivos
como Oval-music o Sanae Group, realizando sets por salas catalanas como
Le Rachdingue, Eixclub, La Sala del Cel, Palm Beach Club, KGB...
Tras consolidarse y evolucionar musicalmente en su estilo como dj, en el
2004 inició su carrera como productor musical. De esta etapa podemos
destacar algunos maxis como "Expression", "Rotation", "Insomni", o
producciones digitales como “Alone”, “Discharge Combustión”… editados por
él mismo con su propio sello “Hypnotic Creations”.

Rockoder inicia su trayectoria musical en el año 1999. Durante un tiempo se
forma como dj evolucionando musicalmente hasta encontrar su propio estilo.
Después de unos años realizando sets por varios clubs locales, entra en el
colectivo Sanae Group, es entonces cuando empieza a consolidarse como dj,
actuando en salas como: La Sala del Cel, Eix Club, Le Rachdingue, Palm
Beach Club, Oxid... En 2003 Senglar Rock incluyó por primera vez la música
electrónica en su festival, donde Rockoder deleito a los presentes con uno de
sus sets mas reconocidos. Tras la disolución del colectivo, entra a formar
parte del sello Hypnotic Creations, empezando así su carrera como productor
musical. Sus amplios conocimientos de informatica le hacen evolucionar
rápidamente y sacar el máximo partido a todas las herramientas que ha ido
adquiriendo.

Al unir sus experiencias, empieza una nueva etapa para los dos, en la que
dejan a un lado los caminos recorridos, para empezar a trabajar en la
electrónica en directo, creando así el proyecto Maniatika.... En sus sets
podemos notar una gran conexión entre ellos y una evolución musical muy
depurada, llegando a tener siete pistas sonando simultáneamente. Esta claro
que a este dúo, se le han quedado pequeñas las sesiones con platos y es por
eso que apuestan por el formato live, donde pueden dar creatividad a sus
sesiones a través de infinidad de sonidos, efectos y temas para hacer bailar
hasta el mas perezoso. Después de mas de dos años creando su propio
estilo, Maniatika ha empezado a dar a conocer sus sets en salas como: Blau
Club, Sala KGB, Row 14, La Boite, o en festivales como: Pulse, Mipanas....
Maniatika ya dispone de cinco referencias en formato digital: Techmotion,
Numeric, Two Months, Biotechnology y Beliefs.
Sus preferencias son el live y el live-jockey, aunque tienen muy
claro que no van a dejar de trabajar en la produccion musical.
