I was born a poor black child. A bunch of stuff happened. Then I came to MySpace...and it's worth every penny I paid. Ignorance is bliss, that's why I like it here. Now all I do is complain ad nauseum about the political situation in this rotting 4th Reich you hillbillies call uhmerica. Yeehaw muther f*cker. Isn't this profile great so far? Whaddya think? Aren't you having a grand ole time? WAIT! DON'T GO YET!
ABOUT MY DAILY LIFE...
I am a single, white, professional male. Never married, no children, have 2 cats, and am child and pet-friendly. I go to work, drink way too much coffee, listen to way too much talk radio, work way too hard, come home and make way too much spicy stir fry, seafood or maybe a big old sammich, pet my cats, watch Keith Olbermann, Family Guy, or maybe Jon Stewart, and then I call it a day. FOXNews is permanently removed from my channel line-up (I wish I could permanently remove it from history). If I happen to see it on somewhere, I usually start to yell at the TV. Other days I go to the book store, the gym, or shopping somewhere. I love trips, travel, leisure, games and frivolity...Yeehaw muther trucker.
ABOUT 2009...?
War with Iran? Will Obama repair our morally bankrupt reputation and save us from the economic black hole created by Bush and the GOP? Will the Harlem Globetrotters play basketball with Robots on Gilligan's Island? Will that guy on Prison Break ever get out of that air duct? Will I finally get around to writing that great American novel? Will Roy Schieder fly to Jupiter with a bunch of Russians? Oops, that's 2010...Or will I just drink more coffee and pet my cats again? Wait, go back to that air duct thing...wouldn't it be great if the prison break guy met up with a different guest star in the air duct each episode, helped to solve their problem and learned a life lesson along the way? Why am I not writing for Hollywood right now? Maybe he'll meet up with Jack Bauer...EVERYBODY DOWN!!!
A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME...
I came up through life very poor, grew up a latch-key child of divorce, and improved the hand I was dealt the hard way (by cheating off the Asian kids in math class). No, by working my way through college. I went to film school, have a BA in Philosophy, PolySci minor, with a smattering of Psych classes. I was heading back for a Masters but ran out of money and didn't want to get buried under student loans, so I got out into the real world and helped form a small company in which I’ve worked for well over a decade. This affords me a generous vacation schedule with tons of free time. Already paid off my house and am looking for another one. I find Ohio (as well as the whole country) to be a bit too red of a state (even considering the results of the election), but it's where I work, so there...I write a lot. I'm a cynic, but that's okay because I define it as "disappointed idealist". I'm sad that George Carlin is dead but happy that Rush Limbaugh died recently. What? He didn't? Godd*mn it!
AN INCOMPLETE LIST OF THINGS THAT MAKE ME WANT TO TURN THE GUN ON MYSELF...
Sean Hannity, Michael Savage, Republicans, FoxNews, corporate welfare, Jar Jar Binks or any mention of "midichlorians", the phrases "touch base", "think outside the box", "win-win", "logistics", "guesstimate", and "synergize", people that have their CAPS LOCK key stuck, people that use "to" instead of "too", "your" instead of "you're", “their” instead of “they're” (and so on...), a-holes at the mall that talk into bluetooth headsets (where the h*ll do you think you are...on stage at a Madonna concert?), that new Snuggie commercial and anyone who buys one of those ridiculous things, people that receive phone calls and actually talk on them during the movies (should be shot is the end of that sentence)...
NON SEQUITUR STUFF I DIG...
Drinking coffee creamer right out of the bottle. My mom. The sound of waves in the ocean. When bad things happen to bad people (like Ann Coulter getting her jaw wired shut – that really happened recently – oh my freaking god it was funny). Gandhi. Will Ferrel. Spicy horseradish. When the ref gets bowled over at the football game and his hat goes flying up in the air. When the cast tumbles over the fruit cart during the chase scene. Fishnet stockings. When that Iraqi journalist dude tossed his shoes at Bush. Jokes about Governor Blagojevich's hair (I gotta use that one while the comedy well still giveth). Jokes about Joaquin Phoenix's beard. Jokes in the format of "such-and-such called, they want there such-and-such back." Pizza...now who could possibly hate pizza...
I'm here to entertain you my online friends. I like people that are generally low-key, intelligent, hate war, violence, and the Bush administration, love kitty cats, culture, and when I mine such comedy gold as "I'm not sure if I can hear you all the way back in the 50s" (actually that was Family Guy, not me) or "Rupert Murdock, whose cultural abortions include FoxNews" (just thought of that one the other day) or "FOXNews, news for dummies" (one of my classics)...
If you have an aggressive, loud, obnoxious, grrrrrr, in-your-face personality, are a right-winger, read books by Ann Coulter, or are a bigot of some sort, we probably will not be online friends.
Maybe now I'll actually write that Prison Break episode for those no-talent Hollywood hacks (I don't actually watch that show...is it even still on??)

ON RELIGION...
Over the years I have come to understand that a belief in god is analogous to any other neurosis or mental disorder and that organized dogmatic religion tends to foster nothing more than behavior control and is generally destructive to world peace. You can look to many past and present wars and social conflicts as evidence.
I agree with the Freudian “cosmic comforter” argument in that most human beings, aware of their own mortality, desire a surrogate parent when they become adults to ease their separation anxiety, to act as a spiritual judge against the wrongdoings of others, and to calm the fear of the unknown. In the desperate longing of the weak and powerless for justice and lifelong contemplation of the mortal coil, God fills this role...I despise fundamentalists, although some TV preachers, hypocritical as they are, especially Robert Tilton, are hilarious to behold...
I believe that religion + time = mythology. I am an agnostic / soft atheist (lack a belief in god). This means I’m not completely closed to the possibility that a creator god could exist, I just lack the present knowledge of this god just as I lack knowledge of unicorns or fairies, and therefore dispense with those concepts. God as an ultimate, infinite, omnipotent, omnipresent and so on type of being I reject outright as a paradoxical or meaningless concept altogether. Humans beings are finite and cannot perceive or conceive infinite beings and such nonsense...
ON POLITICS...
The recent invasion of Iraq was nothing more than mass murder. Your silence is complicity. America is the 4th Reich. Disagree? Go here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_military_bases
ON MORALITY...
Good and evil are subjective moral terms. There is no quantifiable good or evil that exists in reality. Nor are good and evil universal. That means morality is relative and defined by the subject. Thus what is good for you may be not be for me. Anything subjective isn't objective (real). Since morality isn't objective, nihilism is correct.
ON REALITY...
Are humans capable of perceiving actual objective reality (noumena)? No. Humans form concepts (ideas) about objects in reality (phenomena). They don't perceive reality directly. They must filter it through flawed human sensation. Humans are forever stuck with subjective reality (which again isn't really real). You can blame god for that...if he/she/it exists.
ON LOVE...
I've had good, bad and ugly relationships and have learned these very important lessons. 1) never take someone you love for granted. 2) chemistry is everything -- you can have a massively long list of identical interests (even down to minutia), but personality is infinitely greater than the sum of the parts. 3) always check your baggage at the door, no matter how much you have been hurt in life -- do not transfer anger from those scars onto someone else, ever. A great deal of human conflict stems from psychological transference issues from relationships and childhood -- someone hurts you, you come home and get angry at your partner for frivolous reasons, your partner gets defensively angry back, these can build up into deep resentments over time, and can eventually become destructive.
