I enjoy such a variety and style of music. As a dancer since 3 years old, I love tech, latin and country. It's rare I don't like a song. I have been a Dancer and lover of music and the stage since age 3. Jazz, Tap, Ballet and Twirling, Acting, Modeling have always been a pasion for me! I was listed with 3 modeling agencies in Dallas for several years.
As an Officer on the Drill Team at Nimitz High School we were selected to do the half time shows for the Dallas Cowboys for 3 years. They formed the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders soon after, so I tried out and made the team. I did the summer camp thing, but was accepted to The University of Houston and off I drove to a college career and taught aerobics. I joined Ducks Unlimited and became a "Ducks Girl" and worked conventions in Houston and Galveston.
Upon my return to Dallas I auditioned for The Star City Dancers (listed with the Kim Dawson Modeling Agency)as a lead female Dancer where we performed the half-time shows for The Dallas Mavericks, performed dance routines around the DFW metroplex and signed lots of autographs! We were selected to perform on stage with "PRINCE" for a New Year's Eve Show at Reunion Station! The end of the dance, we melted off the stage! SO COOL!
While teaching aerobics at a Dallas Health Club, I was approached to choreograph and perform an 8-week Dance/Aerobic style show for Cafe Dallas. The club was packed for these shows and announcements were made on local radio stations.
I also attended Barbizon Modeling School in Dallas where I gained Modeling and Make-Up Artistry techniques. I studied full Theatre courses while studying at North Lake College in Los Colinas including acting, make-up and stage design/building/set-up. I took Theatre in High School as well.
While living in Los Angeles I did a couple of commercials and was an Extra in a couple of movies. I was also an Extra for a Western Pitch Film created by some Crew members at Walker Texas Ranger in McKinney, Texas.
I have a devotion to Country & Western Dancing (of course, being from Texas!) and can dance anyone off the floor all night. I have assisted in Dance Instruction at Cowboys Redriver and was on the Committee for the monthly Newsletter.
My Dad taught me to design jewelry many years ago and I have carried on the tradition as I sell my collections to boutiques and specialty stores across the country. Take a look at my designs.
