A little about me : I started tapping on an old Stratocaster about 25 years ago . When Steve Vai & Ibanez came out with the 7-String Universe. I knew I could use the extra low B ( great for jazzy bass lines) so I bought one of the first ones (serial 333 ) , and then later 2 more . I then added a 10-string Chapman Stick(tm) to the family. You can check out Stick.com for more info on these babies. I had an idea of a guitar with 14-strings so I could tap the same area of the fretboard with both hands instead of always having to tap an octave higher with the right hand. Several guitar builders down here said it couldn't be done until local luthier Bob Mason said "let's do it " .... Thanks Bob . Ztar !!!
