Influences
everything... from your dead grandma's rusty silverware, to two flies frolicking on a field of decrepidness, to the hobo shining his shoes with a slug and offering you a dirty water hot dog out of his pocket and a turned on blender full of nails, the occasional two-headed child, a mouth full of sand, fermentedness, alchemy, german expressionism, and daisies.
MissRot was conceived in the faraway metropolis of Munich from whence she was imported and exported to many lands in a big-ass wooden crate sealed with nails. She traveled to the jungles of Brazil and was initiated into the Canela tribe but was eventually shunned (amish style) and resided in giant-centipede-malaria-infested mosquito, Tanzania. After exhausting her resources she traveled to the U.S. in a big pimped up submarine, crashed and had a crappy 4-track and yamaha djx presented to her as an offering. Over the years her offerings have become somewhat more "lavish" and include an MC-307, a korg electribe, the magical realm of Reason, the occasional fruit basket and the obvious, super human powers....

FOR YEARS THIS HAS BEEN NOTHING MORE THAN A HUMBLE SOLO PROJECT, CONSISTING OF ONE INDIVIDUAL PROGRAMMING AWAY INTO THE NIGHT ON A SMALL ASSEMBLAGE OF GEAR- CREATING SOUND-TRACK ORIENTED MUSIC FOR SHORT FILMS AND VIDEOS. THESE SOUNDSCAPES HAVE TAKEN MORE SHAPE AND STRUCTURE IN RECENT TIMES AND HAVE EVOLVED INTO RHYTHMIC, DANCEABLE TRACKS WHILE SEEKING TO MAINTAIN THE PERSONAL-IMAGERY INDUCING QUALITY OF THE VISUAL ARTS... IT HAS ALSO BECOME A MUCH MORE COLLABORATIVE AND ACCESSIBLE PROJECT.
