Born c. 1976, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Early interest in art encouraged by architect father and writer mother. Long days building forts in the basement and roaming the streets in bike packs cemented importance of inner and outer exploration as part of daily routine. Developed first photographic print in third grade. Holding a high school degree from Upattinas Open Community School (Glenmoore, PA) and Resource Center, Undergraduate Degree in Human Ecology from College of the Atlantic (Bar Harbor, ME). Full Fellowship Painting Residency at The Vermont Studio Center, Continued studies in figurative oil painting and drawing at The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art (Philadelphia, PA). Awarded a Jane Morrison Foundation Grant for Emerging Film Makers and attended the Maine Media Workshops (Rockport, ME) to study Advanced Digital Cinematography with Michael Minock. Taught the Painting Intensive at The Putney School Summer Programs (Putney, VT) for 3 summers and at Maine College of Art's Continuing education program. Four years in Portland, Maine making movies and music. Currently living in Narberth, Pennsylvania, taking photographs, fiddling with the Dill Pickles and The City Wide Specials and creating a garden labyrinth.
