Orchestra Omaha, Omaha’s community orchestra, was founded in 1999 by a group of musicians from Omaha. We are recognized as a not-for-profit organization by the State of Nebraska and the Internal Revenue Service. Our mission is to provide greater Omaha area musicians opportunities to perform in a symphony orchestra while offering its community an artistically engaging experience. Orchestra Omaha is funded in part by a grant from the Nebraska Arts Council. All of our concerts are presented at no cost to the public. The 2007-08 season represents our ninth season of concerts.
