I am a songwriter and singer. I have released 3c.dees since 1997 on the Surprise Truck label. You can find them thru the website (surprisetruck.com) or if you dig hard on I-Tunes you can get them there too. I rocked out in the 80's in Boston, spent most of the 90's in L.A. and now find myself here in Portland OR singing for whomever will listen. Along the way I have provided accompaniment for The Watson Twins, Lisa Marie Presley, Sandra Bernhart, Blue Eyed Son, Fernando, Quincy Coleman, Ladytown, Rilo Kiley, Slydell, The Ethers, The Hyperions, Fabian and most recently, Portland's own James Low.
Been listening to 'Raise The Rent' from a Left Coast podcast for about a year or two now. Just went to your site and heard the studio version. It's the kind of song(i think) that you could give to 20 different musicians, regardless of style, to reinterpret and you would end up with 20 different great versions..., kind of like 'Yesterday'. Just wanted to pass that info along. My office mate, Belltower, loves it also. She plays a similar style and use to play with Sufjan. Just started listening to your other songs...,
Hi just a small note to say , we have a new album out now! It's called " You are here " and it's really rather spiffing old chap!! and we're playing in your hometown of Portland at the doug fir on the 11th of Mayt !! Cheers ,
South .
Wonderful music at the show, Aram. As I said, your CD has been the victim of my having opened Sarah's first (Sage still loves it, too, so it stays in the home player) but I think we'll sneak it into the car today. Great to hear you play, I look forward to more.
