OVERDOSE TV was born in 1997, in the south of France. The hardly formed group is no longer making speak about him and taking a lead in the local scene.
In spite of its average age -which is then16 years- the combo playing then without bassist, is dissociated already by its authenticity as well on the level of the visual one as on the level of the texts; their influences and their state of mind take source in punk rock and Oi! from the 80’s.
In 1998, Antonio joins the band on bass guitar. The group records its first demonstration, “la mort aux trousses” (death with the cases) and makes its beginnings on the scene in company of KOCHISE, LES APACHES, BRIGADA FLORES MAGON or even LUDWIG VON 88.
After that comes numerous concerts but also some problems due to the changes within the formation: the singer and the drummer leave the group. Antonio and Jimmy decided then to go on with the band, as they ever did, and never give up... they find a new drummer and Antonio, who plays bass, must then take the lead vocals.
With time the group stabilizes and leaves a second demonstration “pas de place pour nous” (no place for us). The sound is much better and the group is focused more and more on the streetpunk scene.
Thus the band starts touring again, and plays with considerable punk or Oi! bands such as KLASSE KRIMINALE, P38, DEADLINE, F-MINUS, etc… The group acquires maturity and experiment, and makes itself a place on the French national scene.
At the end of the year 2003, Overdose TV appears in the compilation “aujourd’hui ..comme hier” published by Worsty Records wich is a tribute to Oi! & Punk French bands from the 80’s.
One year after this same label leaves the first OVERDOSE TV album entitled “Rockin' Class Kids”. The cd is composed by 12 songs of pure streetpunk and a 3 title video recorded live at the Koslow (a big venue in Bordeaux). Following that, OVERDOSE TV sets out again on the road and for the first time plays abroad, in Zürich with EVIL CONDUCT, an then in the 5th edition of the RUDE BOYS UNITY FESTIVAL of Geneva, Switzerland and many more...

Ouaip on a des contacts en commun vu que je vien sur bordeaux quel que fois. Bonne musique j'aime bien. (sa fait 1ans que j'ai votre album sur mon ordi et j'avais jamais écouter c'est seulment maintenant que je m'y met, y serais temps ^^ ) Bon a la prochaine bière et au prochain concert :D (a Genève normalment).
