"Palmer’s Medic, an electronic recording project of a certain Seth David-Andrew Hubbard from southern Utah — Cedar City, Utah, to be precise about things — produces young, fresh music vaguely encapsulatable under genre titles of ambient house, trance, trip hop — terms of that nature. Ambiguous, isn’t it? But that’s the beauty of electronic music, I suppose. At any rate, from the get-go, In a House, Surrounded is an adventurous album: It doesn’t much fit under most specific categorizations (though some would argue that about all music, I am not one of those), which is a bit of a refresher from what’s come to be expected. Of course, most specific genres and descriptions are applied post hoc, so it may be a bit early to consider things of such a nature.

Another beautiful aspect of electronic music is the fact that it can be recorded by most anyone with a musical vision, and it can sound, well, at least okay. In a House, Surrounded sounds more than simply okay, and that, too, is refreshing. There has been obvious time and thought put into this record, and it’s made quite apparent through listening."

"In a House, Surrounded is an impressive undertaking, and it’s one that listeners will find palatable, at the very least. I find it quite palatable — enjoyable, one might say — and that’s certainly saying at least something, I hope."

I actually haven't seen it. I want to though. I was wondering if it was good. And I told you to surprise me and pick what you wanted to write. ;)

Well, I might very well be on late late tonight. :) And one of these days, when you have the time and money, you should totally come visit me in good old Californiaaaa. And omg, I'm surprised I even remember, but a thought just popped into my head about how foreverrrr ago you said you would write something for me. Never happened mister. :o)
Hahaha. And btw, have you heard of or seen Paper Heart?

Dear Seth,

:)
How are you?
I can't believe I'm still awake. I'm not too surprised you are though. I think my cat is throwing up or something. Sorry. TMI. Is the music thing coming along swimmingly?
Oh and you might think me weird, but I adore freckles, so I'm going freckle farming tomorrow if it's sunny. Hopefully I don't get burned. Just thought I'd explain that. Hope you are doing well. Miss youuuu.

Sincerely,

  Melissa.

At a relative standstill as far as recording, but writing lyrics for a couple hours a day for when I get the recording groove on. Workin' on some instrumentals on my oldasfuk piano and the slide geetar. Once the soundcard is in my hands again (since I toasted mine) I will be a pleased man.

What else been goin' on in the life of you? Anything rad?

Ahahah, extremely addictive.
I saw it on the Trending Topics, clicked the Ustream link in someone's tweet, and BAM, couldn't pry my eyes away from the screen. I had to leave a few times for various reasons, but I must have spent 4 hours or more in total just sitting there watching them.

True. They weren't just teenage gamer nerds either. These guys were all in their early 30's and had wives. WIVES. Haha. Watching them made me want to have my own Mario Marathon/pajama party.
