PENTORR are a progressive cornish folk band from south east Cornwall, playing bass driven arrangements of traditional Cornish tunes, mandolin intertwining with celtic fiddle combining of the melodic complexity of Cornish music with psychadelia and reggae infuence.
We are experienced in playing for Troyl (cornish ceilidh) and Noze Looan (similar to the breton fest noz: placing emphasis on accessable dances to increase participation.)
Although Will and Martin have been playing as a more traditionally folky duo, the new full 5 piece line up has been hitting the festivals and pubs with its brand of quirky, dub-infused folkadelic music.
