About me: hello to all you happy freaky sorts out there...
I love just about all artistic modes and look to explore
them more -- painting, drawing, writing, comics, zines,
poetry, photography, music, singing, dance, film, drama, etc...
I like to hike, camp, bike, canoe, read, climb trees, play
Ultimate Frisbee or raquet sports, chat about anything and
everything, cook, take naps, dream, fly kites, blow
bubbles, climb trees, play chess, hacky sack, etc...
I would like to write and illustrate children's books,
publish my own comic, and make a number of short films. I
am a vegetarian, a bit of an odd fellow, and ecclectic in
my tastes in music and spirituality.
That will do for now, but it is only a snippet of who I am
and what I am about.
Oh yah...and the above statements make it seem like I am more "with it" than I am. I struggle to make my life meaningful and have my boughts with doubts and other such darkness.

Who I'd like to meet: I have recently made the leap into self employment through the arts.
I am finding the time at home a bit isolating and would like to connect with other artists who have time during the day to socialize, collaborate and share creative space.
This could be you bringing a project by, working on our separate things, chilling and chatting, maybe going on photographic explorations of the city, possibly setting up some group shows in the future.
I am also interested in putting together creative workshops and marketing them to community centres and the like. Anyone up for collaborating on that? I have some background in youth work, expressive therapies, creative writing, and zines.
