Connie's Interests
General
Music. Songwriting. Spinning class (at the gym, not the craft store.) Art. And of course, God.
Oh, and my grandson.Definitely my grandson.
Music
Celtic sounding stuff for sure. Some techno. Some Contemporary Christian. Vangelis. Just about anything but country, but I love Johnny Cash.
Movies
O Brother Where Art Thou. LOTR,the trilogy. And parts of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Most movies bore me though.
Television
American Idol. The news. Not too much else, really.
Books
LOTR. Old classic novels, the kind Jane Austin and the Bronte sisters would write. I prefer nonfiction, however.
And of course, the Bible.
Heroes
Jesus.
Everyone else is just people.
The Revival Hymn
This is a very powerful video message that will stir your spirit for revival! Clips of following speakers included in this message: Ian Paisley, Leonard Ravenhill, Paris Reidhead, Duncan Campbell, A.W. Tozer, T. Austin Sparks. This is probably one of the most potent and powerful recordings on this entire site. You will be changed as you view this remarkable video.
Who I'd like to meet: Kim Clement. Ronald Reagan (a bit late for that one.) My son's wife (he doesn't even have a girlfriend, so I will have to get back to you on that one.)And various and sundry people I can't remember at the moment. But I still want to meet them.
Your Dominant Intelligence is Musical Intelligence
Every part of your life has a beat, and you're often tapping your fingers or toes.
You enjoy sounds of all types, but you also find sound can distract you at the wrong time.
You are probably a gifted musician of some sort - even if you haven't realized it.
Also a music lover, you tend to appreciate artists of all kinds.
You would make a great musician, disc jockey, singer, or composer.
Well, my 2 boys are in it! Syesha's out. Hope tonight was worth the fast. Thank you for jumping in and ministering on the keys. You are precious, Connie. I'm so glad you came. Love you, girl.
I was trying to show the littleness of my waist in the pics, and I found that I look better in pics if I don't smile. Hehe. I hope you had a good mommy's day.
Hmmm....I think I've heard that comment somewhere before. Let me think... Oh yeah! Some lady in North Carolina thought it important to encourage me in that gifting. I think it was her pick up line. Needless to say I fell for it hook, line and sinker. You should ask her about it sometime.
Great! A partner in the crimes of grace is always a good thing to have. Keeping people humble is also a worthy goal to pursue as well. In your words, HEH HEH! Keep 'em guessing I always say.
I wanted to be the first to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Praise God for another year of overcoming right? A few years ago birthdays weren't top on your praise list but now every year that goes by is another year of testimony to the overcoming power and testimony of the Holy Spirit right?? I know I praise God at every thought of you. Love you girl! May you have many more celebrations to come.
I have started teaching aerobics! Trying to get rid of the "babies-after-30" fat. Went to see Evan Almighty Friday. It was really good. How about you guys? What are you up to these days? Troy liked Fred Thompson too. I thought the information put out by HSLDA on MIke Huckabee was interesting. But I haven't decided anything yet. I'm putting together my presidential search committee: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit... :)
