This site is the OFFICIAL Psychodots myspace page. I originally set it up to get the word out about their new album, and to have a placeholder for them, but now it's official this is THE place on myspace to get Psychodots music in your face.(A little Cincinnati band brotherly love baby!).
In a note of cross-promotional gooodness...The Bears New album Eureka! Is out! and tour dates are up here and on The Bears official site. (hey it's the psycodots+1) And you can get the new album Here
Of course the latest Psychodots Studio album is OUT and you can get it HERE at CDbaby!! I got my copy and it (of course) is great!.
CDBaby also has the new solo release from Rob and the new solo release from Chris and right when you thought "Hey,..Rob and Chris have solo projects,..where's Bob's stuff!?, I've seen him up there, those songs milling around in his head, that solo album itching to come out so where is it!!" Well wait no more because Bob Nyswonger has released his new solo album Deposition"
Deposition has 10 tunes plus a short instrumental, and was recorded in his home studio. Bob does the lead singing and plays pretty much everything but drums, as most of the drumming duties were handled by Chris Arduser and Bam Powell. On one track co-written with Fetters, Rob plays guitar and Adrian Belew plays drums! Get it here at CDBaby
If you want signed copies of the CD's you can visit The Psychodots website for more info.
New Studio and THREE new solo albums?,..Makes you wonder if these guys ever sleep?.
If you want to know more about the psychodots, taking a look inside The Bears website will get you all kinds of information on albums, projects, video's and stories about the guys from The Psychodots and the amazing Adrian Belew.
It's been a long time since I've listened, or seen (hint: come back to Louisville one more again). In fact, I don't even have any Psychodots music since we all made the switch to CDs. I lived this band for years and listening to the songs on the page brought tears to my eyes.
Truly, this band is a perfect example of why I love music!
Seriously, is there nowhere to play in Louisville anymore? If you play here I promise to bring everybody I know.
Sorry for the long "comment" but...when starting out as a bass player years ago, I fought off stage fright by pretending I was the baddest man on the planet: Black Bob! HA!
Great music all year as a group(s) and solo. I look forward to the new material coming but I will enjoy refelecting on this year. Tour to Cleveland Ohio soon in one form or another! Cheers Keebs
Rob, if you check this, - you've got more balls than I do! - "trust in god, clean house, and work with others" - thanks for the Variety Performance and for making me feel welcome - Thanks Dots for filling my head with snappy melodies, and for giving me something to aspire to!
and oh by the way if you what to hear me play everyone's favorite instrument the BANJO and sing, check out my myspace.
The sound has been described as "world beat, if the world had been left under a leaky still in backwoods Virginny to ferment for a couple of mossy nightcrawler seasons..."

Blast from the past! Thanks for the add. Enjoyed the show at the Fraze the other night. I haven't seen you guys live in a decade or so..I don't get out much. Didn't you used to have a gal named "Naughty" at many of The Raisins shows? What ever happened to her? Still have all the vidoetape I did of The Raisins from the early 80's. Hope to see you again soon.
Love, Ginny
