Hey YOU. I had to do a 'visual representation' of my life for my life-span development class and of course you figured prominently into it. I made a 20 minute video featuring several photos and some video clips of me and other significant figures throughout my life (like you and of course Sarah). I had to have my parents send me baby and child photos of myself. Turned out pretty cool (even though I did it old-school analog style...going for an 'amateur aesthetic', you know).

Anyway, it made me miss you looking at all the video and photographs of us.

You'll have to check it out when you're back. As well as the Paris and nude photos you have not yet seen.

Hope you had a nice holiday in Rhode Island (is that where you watched 'Dawn of the Dead'?).

Problem: Tin forgot to turn in some paperwork at State and as a result has to leave the country after she graduates. And of course she doesn't want to go back to Hong Kong.

Solution: I am thinking about marrying her, just to keep her here. We'd have to live together and pretend like we're married during various interviews, as well as plenty of other little bullshit, I'm sure. But I'm in no way attached to my place, and having a housemate as cool as Tin would be a major improvement upon my life.

Plus, Lida has offered to give a few thousand dollars to anyone that marries Tin and keeps her here (because they kind of need her, especially for the new theater they'll be opening). I wouldn't mind having that!

And of course the idea of breaking the law and sticking it to Uncle Sam always appeals to me.

What do you think? It's a little risky, but I love Tin and don't want to see her go. She's one of the coolest and kindest people I've ever met. So I think someone needs to step up and take action. And why not ME? Marriage is just an eight letter word. Don't mean much to me...

If we HAD had a baby in our young, dumb love, I was thinking that he would probably look a lot like this baby in a picture that I stumbled upon (minus the mullet, perhaps). And he would be looking that way at YOU, his mother, who abandoned him in San Francisco, with his negligent father (or am I projecting my feelings upon this innocent, angry baby? Probably). Good thing planned parenthood exists...

You know that I have almost no "conscience", silly. Try to avoid making the mistake again in the future of assuming that I have a normal one. I have to be pushed into doing the right thing by other, stronger people, like Morgan Green.

Will you be in my Top 8 again? I appear to have made an egregious error. I mean, once Morgan Green gets involved, you know that it's serious business.

Tricky in concert: yes AND no. I saw him open for Tool several years ago, and it was pretty good, but he hasn't released anything good (that I'm aware of) in years. So I would say go if it's not expensive and there isn't anything better to do. Otherwise, save your money for some other show.

I wasn't trying to tell you anything. I was just confessing (to an imaginary lord). The sentiments are true, though they have no real specific meaning. I wouldn't try to tell you anything personal through a MySpace comment, c'mon...

Not very photogenic...

I finally got those pictures. I had to pick them up (those UPS bastards!) in Potrero Hill (not far from where Bottom of the Hill is) . You had every right to see them before you left, dammit. Our photo shoot turned out beautifully. My jaw literally almost dropped when I was looking at the pictures. There's some good ones of Paris too (not all of them, but some).

I am very happy with York photo (except they didn't give them to me in digital form...). And very happy with myself as well, for learning to use my camera better. Now I just need to learn how to magically turn some of these awesome negatives into gallery-size prints. Then my work will be complete.

But the Pentax K-1000 will click on...

Ha ha ha. I don't remember us getting married OR divorced, but it could have happened in one drunken haze or another. In any event, on ne sait jamais ce que le futur apportera!
