We are not the band who recently received the Mercury Music Award 2008. That was another band from the North of England called "Elbow".
We are a 6 Piece Multi Instrumental Band, playing music in a wide (wild) range of styles. Based in the Wirral, nr Liverpool, UK and play gigs throughout the Northwest of England and North Wales on a regular basis.
Reckless Elbow & Friends - Hosts of a weekly open mic' night at the Little Brighton (The Ginny), Rowson Street, New Brighton - Tuesday Nights 9.00 pm.
Four out of the six play regularly at Talulla's, Victoria Road, New Brighton - Thursdays from 9.00 pm.
This years festival is headlined by Billy Bragg (Friday), Seth Lakeman (Sunday) and Peatbog Faeries (Saturday) with many more top artists also performing.
