Ride the 75 have been years in the making. Ryan and Bill played with Furious George, a band that did everything from punk to southern rock. Jeremy Short came a few years later and played with them in the For Twinny days. We were always notorious for pushing the limits to do what we wanted to do and if the people didn't like it then to hell with them. We also founded other bands such as Poop and F in A minor . Most of these bands had an above average following for high school garage bands. After years of playing together Ryan moved to Ohio, Bill on to college and played with The Slow Hand Dirty All-Stars. (The house band for Jalpenos bar and grill in Hazard Ky.) Jeremy Short was only 15 when he began to play with Bill in the bar. Ryan soon returned and became a member of Southern Thunder and Bill joined a political punk rock group entitled The Empire of William Henry Harrison. Ryan moved away to Ohio again and began a solo project called Gravel Road. (Hence the songs on our porfile at the moment.) Bill and Jeremy have known each other since 2001. Jeremy has played with several different groups covering several different styles of music. The last being with T.F.O.M.D... Both Bill and Jeremy are former music majors from Morehead State University. Recently we have picked up Matt Hampton on the Basswho we then replaced with Trvis Nichols. Travis is an excellent bassist and is well schooled on his instrument. His stage presense and overall showmanship is very entertaining. The crowd always eats him up. He completed the circle as we are now playing lots of places and a great deal of positive feedback and he is 6'8. It seems that we have pleased the crowd almost everywhere we have played because of the versitality with the group. We are all excited about the fresh start and the potential that the four of us could have together.
