Dear friend Are you concerned for the future.? You should be. The world is on the brink of economic collapse. Also Global warming has reached a critical point. As a result millions will lose homes, jobs, all their material possessions and loved ones too. In fact “men will be faint out of fear and expectation of the things coming on the inhabited earth” Jesus said those words recorded at Luke 21:26 We have just experienced panic among world governments regarding how to solve the present credit crisis echoing once again the words of Jesus “ On earth anguish of nations not knowing the way out” !! Like 21:25 The next two years will see a dramatic change in lifestyles and living standards The term Armageddon will become more commonplace Would you like to know what the future really holds? I have been a Bible scholar most of my life and satisfying answers to complex questions have left me feeling excited that the future will be a happy one. But it is not man who has the answers. Jesus said only God..s Kingdom can bring about God..s will on earth [Matt 6:9 Revelation 11;18 Daniel 2:44] Would you like to know the answer to any of the following? Why are we here? Where do we go when we die? Is God..s personal name Jehovah? Why does God allow suffering? Why did the son of God, Jesus die for mankind? These questions and many more are answered in the book: “WHAT DOES THE BIBLE REALLY TEACH?” Wherever you live in the world you may obtain this book free of charge Just contact Jehovah..s Witnesses in your land Please contact me if you need help Kindest regards John Ward
if you're in los angeles tonight (wednesday 10/1) i will be playing at the standard hotel downtown around 10- and i would love to see you there! (info is on my space)

16th Oct 2008 7.30pm at Fuel Bar - AMERICANA SPECIAL featuring Blind River Scare Wilmslow Road, Withington, Manchester, M20 Cost: free
Acoustic showcase hosted by Picnic Area. It really is an Americana special this time, with almost all acts falling into this musical category! Our visiting stars are Blind River Scare, all the way from Newport, South Wales, popping into Fuel as part of their national tour. This highly melodic Americana outfit have previously supported the likes of Mark Eitzel, Clem Snide and Midlake. In a similar vein are Liverpool-based Ryan Myddleton (saw him at Q Inn a few months ago and he was brilliant!); and Manchester’s own Joanna Lyon. Then there’s our hosts Picnic Area with a second album on M60 Recordings on the way. And by way of contrast, we have the uplifting accapella vocal harmonies of the Voice Collective - they’re so good we keep having them back at Fuel! It will definitely be a night to remember!
