Shane Murphy has been in the entertainment industry for quite a long time. He started out at four years of age dancing on stage and eventually picked up singing, piano, guitar and has been entertaining people ever since.
At the age of sixteen landed a gig as a professional announcer and later worked his way into on-air radio. Realizing his first love was singing, songwriting and performing for live audiences, he dropped everything and moved from Salt Lake City, Ut. to Nashville, TN. to pursue a career in music.
While in Nashville, Shane worked as a studio singer and played local venues with many artists. Being a struggling artist, he ended up taking a job as a dance intructor for a local studio to make ends meet. He eventually made a name for himself in the dance industry and was recruited by a major nationwide dance cooperation and moved to the Phoenix area, where he still resides.
Realizing once again his first true love is music, he quit teaching professionally and began working the nightclub circuit as a deejay, and now fronts a local band, records his original music, and runs live sound for many artists.

There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
